USPTO Abstract

An inhaler (1) for delivery of a powder-form inhalation formulation from a blister strip (2) with a plurality of blister pockets (3) is proposed. The used part of the blister strip with empty blister pockets is wound onto a drum (9) which is driven via a gear mechanism (10) which is coupled to the drum via a spring (15). The spring allows a compensation of different peripheral speeds of the wound-up part.
