They contain an active agent which is a poorly water-soluble corticosteroid, preferably budesonide, fluticasone, mometasone, or ciclesonide, and a cyclodextrin. The compositions are suitable for oral or nasal inhalation. They are particularly useful for the pulmonary administration of corticosteroids using common jet or electronic nebulisers.
