The coating comprises nitric oxide (NO) for obtaining an anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial effect, and for promotion of osteo-integration of the implant, bone healing, bone growth, and wound healing at said implantation area. An implant and a kit of implants, comprising said coating are also provided.
