USPTO Abstract

Reduction of the side effects of diclofenac or its salt. An agent for reducing the side effects of diclofenac or its salt characterized by containing ornoprostil. It is expected that a composition containing diclofenac or its nontoxic salt with ornoprostil is comparable or even superior to marketed diclofenac tablets or arthrotec tablets in effects and immediate action while showing little side effects (in particular, digestive disorder, gastric ulcer, diarrhea/vomiting and renal disorder) and exerting excellent antipyretic, analgesic and antiinflammatory effects. By formulating the composition into a preparation of separate package type, the stability of ornoprostil can be improved.
