USPTO Abstract
Aqueous disinfecting liquid compositions comprise hydrogen peroxide, one or more monomeric quaternary ammonium compounds and an amount of water to make up to 100%. They are characterized in that: the weight ratio of hydrogen peroxide to the monomeric quaternary ammonium compounds in the composition is from 8 to 150, and the viscosity of the said liquid composition is not above 20 mPa.s. They are widely applicable to the cleaning, decontaminating, disinfecting or sterilizing a solid surface or a volume of a gas or liquid, for instance by impregnating a carrier.
