The present invention also pertains to pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds, and the use of such compounds and compositions, both in vitro and in vivo, to inhibit HIF-1 activity, and to inhibit angiogenesis, tumorigenesis, and proliferative conditions, such as cancer.
