There is provided a medicament dispenser (2) having a body, a medicament container (4), dose-liberating means (10), an energy store (20) for actuating said dose-liberating means and trigger means (16) for directly or indirectly releasing the energy store (20), wherein the trigger means (16) comprises a trigger coupling (28). The coupling (28) is reversibly deformable in response to the application of non-mechanical energy thereto. The non-mechanical energy may comprise heat energy, electrical current energy, electrical field energy or magnetic field energy.
