USPTO Abstract
Aerosols for cooling the skin, which are composed of a stock solution containing lower (C1-3) alcohols and liner C10-22 monocarboxylic acids and a liquefied gas and which, after spraying, solidify in a sherbet-like mode at the application sites. The aerosols can contain drugs which have been difficult to add to conventional ones, give a good feel in using and achieve a sustained cooling effect. These characteristics make them efficacious in quickly relieving pains due to bruise, sprain, muscular fatigue, etc. and itching due to athlete's foot, insect bite, etc.
