USPTO Abstract

Novel unsaturated peroxide compositions of Structure A, are disclosed where the R-Q- grouping contains a polymerizable carbon-carbon double bound, i.e. R is, inter alia, alkyl of 1 to 18 carbons; Q is, inter alia, where -(X-Ri) shows the point of attachment of the X-R 1 group and (R)- shows the point of attachment of the R group to the Q diradical and R 2 and R 3 include hydrogen; -X- includes a direct bond and -R 1 is a peroxide-containing radical, e.g., wherein R 6 , R 7 , R 8 and R 9 are, inter alia, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbons and R 10 includes t-alkyl of 4 to 12 carbons. Further, polymeric peroxide compositions derived from them and their uses are disclosed.
