Heterocyclic compounds of the formula: R1-Q-Z-X-A-M, in which R1 represents lower alkyl, a heterocyclic group possibly having one or more suitable substituents, etc .; Q represents an oxadiazolediyl; Z represents a bond or vinyl; X represents a bond, a group of formula (I), (in which R4 represents hydrogen or lower alkyl), a group of formula (II), (in which R8 represents hydroxy or protected hydroxy), etc .; A represents a bond, lower alkylene or lower alkymylene and M represents a heterocyclic group containing at least one nitrogen atom, which can have a substituent chosen from the group consisting of lower alkyl, an imino protecting group and (lower aralkyl) which can have a or more suitable substituents, and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of these compounds used as a medicament.
