This invention provides an improvement in injection syringes by providing for a sound as an indication that the complete dose has been administered. The end of dose indicator (20) of this invention is operatively associated with the dose knob (15) of a injection syringe (1) which is raised to set the dose and pushed to inject the dose. The improvement comprises a means for producing a sound which is set to produce a sound when the dose knob (15) is pushed to the end of the dose and also includes a means (24) for resetting the above means when pressure is released from the dose knob (15) after the dose is injected.
