USPTO Abstract
Substituted 2-isopropyl-2-phenyl-5-(phenethyl amino) valeronitriles are used as immunosuppressors in a method of treatment of organ transplant rejection, either alone or concurrently with administration of cyclosporin in a synergistic manner that permits lowered dosages of cyclosporin than if cyclosporin were to be administered alone. The mechanism of action is thought to be independent of cardiovascular calcium channel blocking activity of the compounds.
