USPTO Abstract
A radar-based physio-logical motion sensor is disclosed. Doppler-shifted signals can be ex-tracted from the signals received by the sensor. The Doppler-shifted sig-nals can be digitized and processed subsequently to extract information related to the cardiopulmonary mo-tion in one or more subjects. The in-formation can include respiratory rates, heart rates, waveforms due to respiratory and cardiac activity, direc-tion of arrival, abnormal or paradoxi-cal breathing, etc. In various embodi-ments, the extracted information can be displayed on a display.
