Apparatuses and methods for automatic medicament injection are described herein. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a housing, an injection member at least partially disposed in the housing, and an actuator configured to be disposed within the housing. The actuator is configured to move the injection member between a first position and a second position. The actuator includes an energy storage member having a first configuration and a second configuration. The energy storage member is configured to produce a force when moved from the first configuration to the second configuration to move the injection member between its first position and its second position.
