This invention relates to a method for enhancing the bioavailability of ospemifene or a geometric isomer, a stereoisomer, a pharmaceutically active salt, an ester thereof or a metabolite thereof, wherein said compound is administered orally to the individual in connection with the intake of food. The invention also relates to the treatment or prevention of osteoporosis, skin atrophy, epithelial and mucosal atrophy, as well as to treatment or prevention of urinary or vaginal symptoms.
