USPTO Abstract
A transfusion preparation for peripheral intravenous administration, comprising transfusion (A) containing glucose in a concentration of 80 to 20 0 g/L and transfusion (B) containing amino acids in a concentration of 50 to 1 50 g/L, the transfusions separately accommodated in a container fitted with partition means permitting mutual communication. The transfusion (A) does no t contain sulfite salts, having a titration acidity of 1 or below, and is load ed with vitamin B1 and adjusted to pH 3 to 5. The transfusion (B) is adjusted t o pH 6.5 to 8. After mixing of the transfusions, the pH is in the range of 6 t o 7.5 and the titration acidity in the range of 5 to 10.
