ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A jet device for fluid texturing yarn has a yarn needle mounted in the jet body through which yarn passes to the outlet end of the jet. Pressurized air enters a chamber surrounding the needle through a stream forming restriction which is angled to direct a stream of air across the yarn guiding element and toward the outlet end of the jet providing greater turbulence for texturing the yarn.
