USPTO Abstract

The inventive rotary-wave sub-assembly (1) for pumping a fluid comprises a hollow body (2) provided with two conduits (11,12), a piston (3) defining, with the body (2), a work chamber (31) angularly movable between two fluid configurations and switching configurations, and alternatively in longitudinal translation so as to vary the dimensions of the work chamber (31), the conduits (11,12) are longitudinally offset with respect to one another, the piston (3) comprises a channel (25) emerging longitudinally in the work chamber (31) and radially in a pair of longitudinally offset lateral recesses (22, 23) arranged such that, in each fluid configuration, only one of the recesses (22, 23) is in fluid communication with only one of the conduits (11, 12).
