Mechanism of action

Zenocutuzumab-zbco is a bispecific antibody that targets HER2 and HER3 receptors on the surface of cells. By binding to these receptors, it prevents them from forming a complex (dimer) and stops a protein called NRG1 from binding to HER3. This inhibition reduces cell growth and disrupts a key signaling pathway involved in cancer progression.
