Mechanism of action
VMX-C001 works by inhibiting the SGLT2 receptor, which reduces glucose reabsorption in the kidneys and lowers blood glucose levels. This mechanism is similar to other SGLT2 inhibitors, such as empagliflozin and canagliflozin.
