Mechanism of action
Telmisartan works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor, to lower blood pressure. Amlodipine relaxes vascular smooth muscle, reducing peripheral resistance and lowering blood pressure. Rosuvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, a key enzyme in cholesterol synthesis, to lower LDL cholesterol levels.
