Sorafenib (SORA)
Sorafenib (SORA) is a Multi-kinase inhibitor Small molecule drug developed by Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University. It is currently FDA-approved for Hepatocellular carcinoma, Renal cell carcinoma, Differentiated thyroid cancer.
Sorafenib is a multi-kinase inhibitor that blocks RAF, VEGFR, and PDGFR signaling to inhibit tumor cell proliferation and angiogenesis.
Sorafenib is a small molecule inhibitor of the RAF proto-oncogene serine/threonine-protein kinase. It is used to treat various conditions, including Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), Measurable Residual Disease (MRD), Rhabdomyosarcoma and Other Soft Tissue Sarcomas, Ewing's Sarcoma Family of Tumors, and Osteosarcoma.

Mechanism of action
Sorafenib inhibits multiple serine/threonine and receptor tyrosine kinases, including RAF kinase (involved in the MAPK pathway), VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3 (which promote tumor angiogenesis), and PDGFR-β (which supports tumor vasculature). By blocking these pathways simultaneously, it reduces both direct tumor cell growth and the formation of new blood vessels that feed tumors.
