Mechanism of action

The toothpaste contains strontium acetate and sodium fluoride, which work together to occlude exposed dentin tubules (the microscopic channels in tooth structure that lead to the nerve) and remineralize tooth enamel. Strontium ions block the tubules from the inside, while fluoride strengthens enamel and reduces sensitivity transmission to the nerve.
