Mechanism of action
The hypertonic saline solution works by osmotic action, drawing fluid from swollen nasal tissues to reduce edema and congestion. It also mechanically flushes nasal passages of mucus, allergens, and irritants, providing symptomatic relief without pharmacologically active ingredients.
