Mechanism of action
This product combines carboxymethylcellulose sodium and hyaluronate with omega-3 fatty acids (MEGA-3) to create a multi-component lubricating formulation. The cellulose and hyaluronate components coat and protect the cornea and conjunctiva, while the omega-3 fatty acids support tear film stability and reduce inflammation associated with dry eye disease.
