Mechanism of action
TSH is a glycoprotein hormone produced by the pituitary gland that regulates the production of thyroid hormones, including thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). By administering recombinant TSH, the thyroid gland is stimulated to produce these hormones, which can help to regulate metabolism and other bodily functions.
