Mechanism of action
NPF-08 works by inhibiting the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), which is a key component of the renin-angiotensin system. This leads to decreased levels of angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor, resulting in vasodilation and reduced blood pressure.
