Mechanism of action
Progesterone is a naturally occurring steroid hormone that activates progesterone receptors (PR-A and PR-B) in target tissues. Micronization increases the drug's bioavailability and absorption. The hormone regulates endometrial proliferation, maintains pregnancy, and modulates immune and inflammatory responses in reproductive tissues.
