Mechanism of action
Menopur contains equal amounts of FSH and LH extracted from the urine of postmenopausal women. FSH directly stimulates the growth and maturation of ovarian follicles, while LH supports steroidogenesis and follicle maturation. Together, these hormones promote the development of multiple follicles for assisted reproductive procedures.
