Lignocaine

Lignocaine, also known as lidocaine, is a small molecule local anesthetic of the amino amide type. It is used to treat pain, including postoperative pain and shoulder pain, and is typically effective for half an hour to three hours when used for local anesthesia or in nerve blocks.
