Mechanism of action
Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is an endogenous antimicrobial compound produced by neutrophils that oxidizes bacterial cell membranes and proteins, leading to pathogen death. In topical gel formulation, it provides sustained antimicrobial activity while also modulating the inflammatory response to promote wound healing and tissue repair.
