Mechanism of action

GNR-067 works by inhibiting the sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) in the kidneys, reducing glucose reabsorption and lowering blood glucose levels. This mechanism is similar to other SGLT2 inhibitors, such as empagliflozin and canagliflozin.
