Etadrol (FLUPREDNISOLONE)
Etadrol (fluprednisolone) is a synthetic glucocorticoid medication originally developed by Pharmacia and Upjohn. It works by binding to the glucocorticoid receptor, mimicking the effects of cortisol in the body. Etadrol is used to treat various inflammatory conditions, but its exact indications are not specified. As an off-patent medication, Etadrol is no longer protected by patents, allowing generic manufacturers to produce it. Despite this, there are currently no generic manufacturers listed.
