Mechanism of action
The vaccine contains inactivated (killed) influenza virus antigens from three seasonal strains (A/H1N1, A/H3N2, and B) that trigger humoral and cellular immune responses. Upon vaccination, the body produces specific antibodies and memory immune cells that recognize and neutralize circulating influenza viruses, providing protection against infection and reducing disease severity.
