Mechanism of action
ClinOleic is an intravenous lipid emulsion containing soybean oil and fish oil, designed to supply energy (9 kcal/g) and essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6) to patients receiving total parenteral nutrition (TPN). It helps prevent essential fatty acid deficiency and supports metabolic function in critically ill or post-operative patients who cannot tolerate enteral feeding.
