Mechanism of action
The formulation contains three essential ceramides (1, 3, and 6-II) that are naturally present in healthy skin, along with hyaluronic acid and cholesterol, which work together to repair a compromised skin barrier and prevent transepidermal water loss. This multi-ingredient approach helps restore skin hydration and reduce irritation in conditions characterized by barrier dysfunction.
