Cefobid (CEFOPERAZONE)
Cefobid, also known as Cefoperazone, is a cephalosporin antibacterial drug. It was originally developed and is currently owned by a pharmaceutical company. Cefobid is a small molecule that targets a wide range of bacterial infections, including those caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It was FDA-approved in 1982 and is now available as a generic medication. Cefobid has a short half-life of 1.8 hours and limited bioavailability of 10%.
