Mechanism of action
Cationorm is a cationic emulsion designed to mimic the natural tear film, particularly the lipid layer that reduces evaporation and provides comfort. The cationic (positively charged) formulation allows the oil-in-water emulsion to adhere better to the negatively charged corneal and conjunctival epithelium, providing prolonged lubrication and protection for dry eye conditions.
