Cibacalcin (CALCITONIN HUMAN)
Cibacalcin (generic name: CALCITONIN HUMAN) is a calcitonin (human synthetic) Recombinant protein drug developed by Novartis. It is currently FDA-approved (first approved 1986).
Cibacalcin is being studied in clinical trials for various conditions, including Acute Chest Syndrome, Sickle Cell Disease, Migraine Headache, Thyroid Cancer, and Osteoporosis. It is being tested in combination with a respiratory broad panel multiplex PCR and procalcitonin, as well as psilocybin, to evaluate its potential benefits.
