Mechanism of action
Calcium is essential for bone mineralization, muscle contraction, and nerve transmission. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) enhances intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate, and regulates serum calcium homeostasis. Together, these components prevent and treat calcium and vitamin D deficiency states.
