Mechanism of action
BioMend functions as a scaffold and delivery system that facilitates osteogenesis (bone formation) through biocompatible materials that support cellular attachment, proliferation, and differentiation of osteogenic cells. The material is resorbed over time as new bone is formed, ultimately being replaced by native bone tissue.
