Mechanism of action
Bio-Oss consists of deproteinized bovine bone mineral that maintains the natural hydroxyapatite and collagen structure, serving as an osteoconductive matrix. It is gradually resorbed and replaced by host bone during the healing process, facilitating bone formation in dental and orthopedic applications. The material acts as a physical scaffold while promoting osteoblast activity and new bone formation.
