Mechanism of action

Beclomethasone reduces inflammation in the airways by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators and decreasing immune cell infiltration. It is administered as an inhaled aerosol, allowing direct delivery to the lungs while minimizing systemic exposure. This localized anti-inflammatory action makes it effective for controlling asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) symptoms.
