A+C Vaccine
A+C Vaccine is a Polysaccharide conjugate vaccine Biologic drug developed by Jiangsu Province Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It is currently FDA-approved for Prevention of meningococcal disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A and C.
A+C Vaccine is a combined meningococcal vaccine that stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies against Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A and C.
The A+C vaccine, also known as TG4040, is being studied in clinical trials for various conditions, including Chronic Hepatitis C Infection, Influenza, and Genital Herpes. It is administered in combination with standard of care (SOC) treatments, such as pegylated interferon and ribavirin, and QIVc.

Mechanism of action
The vaccine contains polysaccharide antigens from meningococcal serogroups A and C, which trigger both humoral and cellular immune responses. These responses generate protective antibodies that bind to the bacterial capsule, preventing infection and disease caused by these two major meningococcal serogroups.
